Personal Post Alert!:

I don't really care what anybody says. I have not read the reviews and probably never will, but the new Tool album ROCKS!

Already the soundtrack that I'll be taking on the road for Summer 2006 is shaping up pretty good.

I wholeheartedly disagree.

The album is good so long as one listens to it as backgroud music, but I've had it in my car for a week and I think that, at best, the frist two songs rock whereas the rest sort of meander around and bore me.

I knew I was going to get that kind of response. I somewhat agree: songs 1, 2 and 5 actually rock in the traditional sense. The others are not as "rocking". I am a huge Tool fan and usually listen to the albums as one continuous stream of music while I drive or work at home. Maybe my brain is damaged. I've tried to "convert" other people to Tool, but I am almost convinced that Tool fans are born not made. Take care and keep up the awesome work you're doing with Coalition for Darfur.
